Case Study
Peppa Pig World – Metro Centre
Full passive fire stopping package delivered for a major public attraction, including fire-rated partitions, penetration sealing, and bespoke FD60 door sets across complex layouts.

Project Overview
FCSL Compliance was appointed to deliver the full passive fire stopping package for the Peppa Pig World attraction at the Metrocentre. The scope of works included the installation of 60-minute fire-rated partition walls, certified service penetration seals, and bespoke FD60 fire door sets, all designed to meet the complex layout and fire safety requirements of a high-profile public attraction.
The Challenge
The project presented significant complexity due to the volume of partition walls, irregular room layouts, and multiple curved sections throughout the attraction. Achieving compliant fire compartmentation across these non-standard shapes required careful interpretation of design intent and precise execution on site.
Our Solution
FCSL Compliance addressed these challenges through daily toolbox talks, focusing specifically on design details and practical installation methods. This collaborative approach ensured that all operatives clearly understood the requirements and consistently applied them across the varied layouts and curved structures.
The Outcome
The passive fire stopping works were completed to the required standards, achieving full compliance and certification across the attraction. FCSL Compliance successfully delivered a robust fire safety solution suited to a busy public environment, supporting safe operation and client satisfaction.
